The Elijah Iles House is located at the Northeast corner of  Seventh and Cook Streets in Springfield, Illinois. It was moved twice from its original location at Sixth and Cook Streets to this new location. As Springfield's oldest home, it is a symbol of our historic past. After extensive renovation, it was opened to the public in 2005. You can learn more about the house at:

After sharing my pictures of this fantastic house with members of the Elijah Iles House Foundation, P.O. Box 144, Springfield, IL 62705, I was designated as the Iles House official photographer.

This compilation spans the three year time period I spent as the official Iles House Photographer and represents the The Iles House in all its splendor. After a disagreement over the use of my copyrighted photographs, I chose to discontinue my duties as official photographer and disassociate myself from the board. I still support the idea of the foundation and the idea of the Iles House. This website, subsidized by myself, is my way to provide access to the many historical photographs while still maintaining control over my valuable property. Any further or continued use of these picture files or copies thereof without written permission will be considered copyright infringement except as noted above*.
